Public art occupies a unique place within our practice. While it intersects with our design practice, it invites a different way of thinking about public space.

While design is logical and unfolds through a series of progressive decisions, art is associative, drawing connections between ideas and objects that may not normally be linked. Our long-term collaboration with artist Elspeth Pratt combines our backgrounds and perspectives to create works that emerge through dialogue between these two distinct yet intertwined disciplines.
